Inspeximus, ca. 1290. 18 Edward I.

Inspeximus [undated] by Henry le Abbe, lord of Wasfelde, of a charter [undated] of William le Abbe, his grandfather, granting to Robert, son of Robert de Wasfelde, 1 furlong of his land in Wasfelde, which Robert, father of said Robert, formerly held, paying an annual rent of 5s. and being quit of multure; which grant the said Henry le Abbe confirms to Thomas de Wasfelde, son of Robert Hobekyn, and the said Thomas in return has quit-claimed to Henry all his land lying east of the ditch which stretches from the water of Trokabroca to the land of "la Werthe"; and the said Henry further grants that Thomas and his heirs shall have 6 1/2 acres of his land in Wasfelde.
